Rejuvenation in Mayfair...

The Survey of London describes 34 Grosvenor as one of the finest houses on the Grosvenor Estate. It was originally built by Richard Lissiman and sold when almost complete in 1728 to diplomatist Sir Paul Methuen (for £4,500).

Now grade II* listed, GTH’s designs for the refurbishment works were subject to exacting heritage and quality standards.
The refurbishment provides 11,000sq/ft of exemplary accommodation fit for the 21st century workplace.

The interior retains its fine original front compartment staircase with stone treads, carved ends with lyre pattern wrought iron balustrade along with stucco work to walls and ceiling. Principle rooms are lined with timber and plaster panels, many of which boast original fire places and surrounds.

The main house is connected at all levels to an annex building which directly addresses Three Kings Yard.

The finished design focuses on the restoration & enhancement of the heritage assets within the property whilst introducing new design elements, the piece de la resistance being a new terraced courtyard and all-weather pergola flanked by a spectacular living green wall.

The whole building has been painstakingly redecorated in a manner that is faithful to its past whilst looking to the future. In addition, the scheme delivers an A rated EPC on account of new MEP systems.
